3.8 Litre V6 engine

Powerful, clean and efficient. This advanced all-aluminium V6 engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing uses a cold air-intake system, which produces responsive, efficient power. It's proof that having 194kW of power and 348Nm of torque isn't just impressive, it's exhilarating.

4 wheel independent suspension

Grandeur's fully independent suspension with double wishbone and rear multi-link configuration incorporates twin-tube gas shock absorbers to help dampen spring oscillation. They work together to isolate the road's imperfections, providing agile handling characteristics and a smooth ride.

Automatic transmission

Outstanding performance comes from an exceptional drivetrain. Grandeur comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, lockup torque converter and Selectronic automatic transmission, enabling the driver to change from automatic to manual mode with ease and precision.

Eight airbags. Why accept anything less?

Grandeur sets a new benchmark. An extensive range of safety technologies come standard, including the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Traction Control and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to help reduce the risk of a collision. With eight airbags, two front active head restraints, dual front seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters, and a reinforced unibody construction, you can rest assured your Grandeur's safety system is highly evolved.

Electronic stability program

ESP is a cutting edge active safety system that automatically applies the brakes to individual wheels and adjusts throttle input as required, keeping the vehicle on its intended path. ESP continually checks whether the car is actually going in its intended direction, or whether it has lost control, either through excess speed or slippery surfaces. If this starts to happen, ESP intervenes to cut the engine power and if required, applies the brake to one or more wheels with varying force, stabilising the car and reducing the danger of skidding, without the driver's intervention.

Front active head restraints

Designed to further protect the front occupants in a rear collision, this standard safety feature helps prevent whiplash by narrowing the gap between the head and the head restraint.

Anti-lock braking system

4-wheel disc brakes are equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) to help maintain steering control in emergency braking situations.

Structural integrity

Built on an entirely new platform, the Grandeur's reinforced unibody construction is intelligently engineered to absorb collision energy. High-tensile steel provides solid structural integrity, while front and rear crumple zones, bodyside reinforcements, hood-buckling creases and an energy absorbing steering column help protect you in an impact from any direction.

Rain sensing wipers
Optical sensors on the Grandeur Limited detect moisture on the windshield and automatically adjust the wiper speed for optimal visibility. Now that's intelligent driving.

Power sunroof
The standard power tilt-and-slide sunroof on the Grandeur Limited invites a healthy dose of fresh air into the cabin and brightens the interior with natural light. You can adjust nature with a sliding sunshade.

Headlamp washers
