The Getz leads the way with world class safety features. Acclaimed by the NRMA for its front seat active head restraints, the Getz features driver and front passenger airbags, front seat belt pretensioners and side impact bars. Slippery conditions are made safer with Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and 4 wheel disc brakes (standard on SX 1.6L model).
Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack#
For even more protection the Getz SX 1.6L is available with the Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack as an optional extra. The pack includes Bosch’s cutting edge stability system – Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Traction Control System (TCS).
Another feature of the Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack is front side (thorax and head) airbags, giving added protection to the driver and front passenger in the event of a side impact.

Getz SXi lets you stand out from the crowd with sleek, funky styling and exciting colours, including Hip Hop Red, Ebony Black and Midnight Grey (an exclusive colour to SXi).
The Anti-skid Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) means you can brake hard and still steer out of trouble even on a slippery road. Four wheel disc brakes provide added safety. Occupant safety is further optimised with soft deploy driver and front passenger airbags and front seat belt pretensioners.
